What is this?

This demo shows the power of Silverlight 1.0 combined with ASP.NET AJAX. The Silverlight content is created with the ASP.NET Futures Xaml control on the server, and a derivitive of Sys.Preview.UI.Xaml.Control on the client. The watermarks use an extender from the ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit, and saving and retrieving beats is via an ASP.NET AJAX enabled web service.

What's that sound?

All the "instruments" are me doing vocal percussion. (In other words, I made those noises with my mouth.) All the sounds were recorded with my tablet's built-in microphone using Audacity.
